    Another Dump

    Another 30cm to the valley last night..

    Snowfall warning for
    Whistler continued

    Further snowfall accumulation of 5 to 10 cm over Whistler and near Stewart this morning.



    A strong pacific frontal system over the North Vancouver Island will push southwards this morning. Southerly winds up to 90 km/h have developed along the central coast coastal sections. Behind the front the strong winds will shift to northwest with wind speeds 60 to 90 km/h over the north and central coasts and up to 50 to 70 over north and West Vancouver Island. Westerly winds up to 70 km/h will develop in Victoria near Juan de Fuca strait late this morning.

    The storm is spreading snow to some inland sections as well. Further snowfall accumulation of 5 to 10 cm are expected today for Whistler and Stewart.

    Snow is no longer expected for Howe Sound as the temperature will maintain above freezing
