    Inversion

    A ridge of high pressure over the bc interior will gradually weaken and drift southwards today. A second ridge extending from The southwest onto the central coast will drift southwards across Vancouver Island this afternoon while a low approaching from the southwest moves into the gulf of Alaska. The associated cold front will weaken as approaches the north coast tonight.. Sunny skies and cool temperatures are forecast through Saturday. Light outflow winds in the valley, and up top now winds have died down to around 15km/ph. -18C in the valley, and -11C up top.
