    Snow in the forecast

    Skier Todd K.
A cold front just off the west coast of Vancouver island will bring snow through Friday evening. It looks like it should stall over us for the next few days bringing moderate snowfall to 30cm through Friday evening. Lingering cold air combined with a passing front will spread additional local amounts of 2 to 5 cm of light snow this morning. Approximately 2 to 5 cm of wet snow has been reported in areas of Greater Vancouver and 7 cm of near Squamish. The wet snow is expected to change over to rain at lower elevations later this morning when temperatures rise above freezing.
