Morning power flurries
Well it looks like the island sucked up all the moisture last night dropping 27cm on Mt. Washington overnight.
We got just a skiff overnight, a major power flurry has just started up this morning maybe bringing a couple of cm's then sunny breaks this afternoon. The satellite loop from last night shows all the weather splitting either to the north of south of us.
A weak low over central Vancouver Island will move inland this morning. A trough of low pressure in a north to south line over the offshore waters will cross the Charlottes this morning. The trough will lie through the Lower Mainland by Friday morning. An intense front will move into the offshore waters Friday afternoon.
Saturday will bring more snow with a system approaching 984mb low looks like it will bring moderate snowfall...We'll see...
