High winds and rising temperatures yesterday brought us some fairly dense new snow to the alpine above around 5500ft. The alpine should be fresh this morning after over 100km/ph winds from the south Thursday kept the top closed, -8C up top- 30km/ph winds this morn. Happy riding!
A ridge of high pressure will build briefly over southern Vancouver Island this morning then drift east later in the day. An intensifying low and associated frontal system well offshore will move toward the coast today with the front lying from the queen charlottes southeastwards overnight.
