    Big Storm

    It looks like a good storm is brewing out in the pacific. Freezing levels have been amended to around 1600m copious amounts of precip are expected for Friday as a 979mb low approaches from the pacific. The low centred off the Alaska Panhandle will pound the region Friday and Saturday.

    A Warm Front Approaching The South Coast Will Bring Periods Of Precip Today And Tonight With Gradually Rising Freezing Levels. The Trailing Cold Front Will Move Through Friday Morning With A Second Frontal System Approaching Late Friday.

    Snowfall Accumulation 1 To 3 Cm.
    Freezing Level Near Valley Bottom.
    Mountain Top Winds South 30 To 50 Km/H.

    Tonight..Periods Of Snow.
    Alpine Temperature Steady Near Minus 4.
    Snowfall Accumulation 2 To 5 Cm.
    Freezing Level Near Valley Bottom.
    Mountain Top Winds South 50 To 70 Km/H Gusting To 90.

    A weak front stalled in an east to west line across central Vancouver Island will strengthen today as it moves northward as A warm front through the bc coast. A low will deepen to 972 Millibars by this evening over the northern gulf of Alaska.
