    Trough of low pressure

A ridge of high pressure will persist well offshore. A trough of low pressure over the interior will shift westwards and lie along the mainland coast by Sunday morning. A Cool Unstable Airmass Associated With An Upper Trough Will Reach The South Coast On Sunday Spreading Scattered Flurries And Low Freezing Levels.

Looks like we've definatley got some light flurries starting up this morning up on the peaks, but any real accumulation will come tonight as the trough of low pressure slides down from the north to sit over us overnight tonight. Were sitting at -10C up top with ridgetop winds out of the west @ 40km/ph

A system building out of the southwest will approach the coast later in the week.

Sunday..Mainly Cloudy With Scattered Flurries. Alpine High Minus 9. Snowfall Accumulation Trace To 3 Cm. Freezing Level Near Valley Bottom. Ridge top winds west 30 km/ph
