A front over central Vancouver Island early this morning will intensify early today and slide east of the region by this evening. An associated low pressure system will intensify as it moves northeast through Queen Charlotte Sound this morning and early this afternoon

Warm, windy and wet weather is expected through Saturday with cooling possible on Sunday.
