    Weakening cold front

    A weakening cold front in a northeast to southwest line through central Vancouver Island will move slowly southward to lie in Washington state by early this evening. A ridge of high pressure will lie west of the island. Moderate to strong northwesterly winds will prevail except for light to moderate southeasterlies today south of the front.
