    A Frontal System Across Vancouver Island Is Spreading Periods Of Snow Over Our Region Today Tapering Off To Flurries Tonight As The System Moves Eastward. In Its Wake Drier Conditions Will Prevail On Saturday.

    A 978 millibar low will remain in the gulf of Alaska and slowly fill. A weak front over northern Vancouver Island will shift southwards today and slump across the southern Vancouver Island this evening. A cool trough of moist unstable air will rotate through north coastal mountains later today behind the front. A high pressure ridge will build into the bc coast by late Saturday.

    Today alpine..Snow Heavy At Times. Alpine High Minus 1. Snowfall Accumulation 15 To 25 Cm. Freezing Level 1500 Metres.
    Mountain Top Winds South 30 To 50 Km/H.

    Today valley..Rain. High 9.
    Tonight..A few showers ending overnight then cloudy. Low plus 4.
    Saturday..Cloudy with sunny periods. High 10.
