A Dusting of snow to the valley last night will hopefully be the last. Yesterdays wild weather brought snow to the alpine and rain and gusty winds to the valley.

An Upper Trough Of Low Pressure Along The Coast Will Continue To Bring Scattered Flurries And A Chance Of Thunderstorms Today. The Trough Will Shift Inland Tonight And Drier Conditions Are Expected On Friday.

Freezing Level 900 Metres Rising To 1300 Metres This Afternoon.
Mountain Top Winds South 20 Km/H.

Today in the valley..A few flurries changing to a few rain showers this morning.
Risk of a thundershower late this morning and this afternoon. High 9.
Tonight..Cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Risk of a
thundershower early this evening. Low plus 3.
Friday..Cloudy with sunny periods and 30 percent chance of showers in
the morning and afternoon. Clearing late in the day. High 11.

A low pressure system will remain stationary just west of Dixon entrance today then move to the north late in the day. A ridge will build offshore tonight.

Looks like the weekend will warm up nicely on Sunday bringing finally warmer temperatures. Highs for the valley Sunday could reach 20C.
