    An Upper Trough Of Low Pressure Centre Will Cross The Coast This Afternoon Resulting In Frequent Showers And The Risk Of A Thundershower. A Weak Ridge Of High Pressure Will Build Onto The Coast Saturday Bringing Dry Conditions By The Afternoon.

    A broad 1006 millibar low will remain near 180 miles west of Cape Scott until this afternoon then move northeastward while weakening.
    A front associated with the low will approach the west coast of Vancouver Island this afternoon and move to Queen Charlotte Sound this evening.
