    Whistler Weather forecast

    An upper ridge of high pressure will produce mainly sunny skies for today. Some cloud will move into our area tonight as a small disturbance approaches our area for Monday. A more organized system should bring periods of snow for Tuesday. The freezing level is expected to remain at the valley level throughout the period.

    An Arctic ridge of high pressure over the northern bc interior Will gradually weaken today. A trough of low pressure extending northwestward from Washington state will shift eastward and weaken this afternoon as an offshore ridge builds towards the outer coast.

    Freezing Level Valley Bottom.
    Mountain Top Winds Light And Variable.

    Flurries Will Change To Snow Monday Afternoon As A More Significant Frontal System Approaches The Region. The Storm Is Forecast To Deepen Significantly By Tuesday, Resulting In Strong Southeasterly Winds And Moderate Snow Amounts To High Elevations Of The South Coast. An Unstable Northwesterly Flow Will Persist Into Thursday Delivering More Snow To The Region.
