A frontal system approaching the coast will cross the north coast late this afternoon and cross the south coast this evening. A trough will move toward the coast tonight as the low centre moves into the northern gulf of Alaska

The snow should taper off to a few flurries Thursday afternoon as the front moves inland and weakens.
