    A Warm Front Will Continue To Spread A Few Flurries Or Showers To The Region Today Along With Rising Freezing Levels. A Ridge Of High Pressure Begins To Build Over The South Coast To Give Dry Conditions Tonight Through Saturday Afternoon. A Cold Front Will Approach The Region Late In The Day Saturday To Give A Few Showers.

    A low pressure system well offshore will move northeastward and deepen to 996 millibars as it crosses the northern offshore waters this afternoon. The associated warm front over the Queen Charlottes this morning will gradually move inland during the day today as it crosses northern Vancouver Island and the north coast. The trailing cold front will be approaching the north coast overnight.
