Cooler air on the way

Whistler Weather forecast

Dry conditions and above seasonal temperatures will persist into tomorrow as the ridge of high pressure weakens and moves inland. A weak disturbance approaches the coast on Thursday causing increased cloudiness and lowering freezing levels.

An arctic ridge of high pressure is forecast to build over the Yukon towards the end Cof the week allowing cold air and falling freezing levels through the weekend, however this ridge should not become established for long. A weak disturbance approaches the region on Saturday morning increasing the chance of snow. The cold air should be out of here by Monday allowing a more Westerly flow.

A ridge of high pressure will then build off the coast of Washington state early next week. Another weak disturbance slides down the coast Tuesday. Nothing major appears to be brewing out there at present. The pacific jetstream is somewhat mellow, and to the north of us not sending much needed snow our way.
