January springtime?

Whistler Weather forecast

A strong 1024mb ridge of high pressure will remain over the Coast centered roughly on top of us sending the pacific jetstream in a south to north direction bypassing us, and any chance of precipitation. The ridge will bring warm and dry conditions to the South Coast Mountains today through Monday, and well into next week.

Toe of the Overlord Glacier

Dry conditions and high freezing levels to around 3000m-4000m. A weak front will bring clouds and lower freezing levels on Tuesday however no precipitation is expected right through the end of next week. The ridge then moves out into the pacific mid next week toward 35N 155W (north of Hawaii) hopefully allowing the pacific jet stream to take aim at us again. Otherwise enjoy the warm mountain top temperatures, and spring like conditions alpine highs in the sun have been hitting +9c! Soak up the sun it won't last forever.
