A final dry and mainly sunny day will continue over the South Coast today. Increasing higher cloud will spread northwards across the region tonight ahead of a couple of upper disturbances expected on Sunday with the first one arriving in the morning. A second and wetter band of moisture is expected over the region Sunday afternoon or in the early evening
On Monday a low centre will move to lie to the west of Vancouver Island bringing more organized precipitation over the region. As a surface trough becomes established over the South Coast on Tuesday freezing levels should begin to lower over the region.
They will continue to lower on Wednesday as arctic air moving southwards over the BC Interior approaches southwestern BC.
