After a series of nice cool storms things have warmed up. We've got rain to the top this morning. A cold front extending northeast to southwest through Vancouver Island will move southwards across the South Coast to lie over northwestern Washington State late this evening. A low centre forming off the Oregon Coast early Thursday morning will move northeastward across the Inner South Coast on Thursday afternoon.
A cold front slowly crossing the British Columbia south coast will bring rain at times heavy today and tonight. An additional 50 to 70 mm of rain is expected for West Vancouver Island and Howe Sound bringing total rainfall amounts of 80 to 100 mm. The heavy rain is expected to ease tonight as the cold front continues to move to the southeast.
