A ridge of high pressure along the BC coast will shift eastward over the BC Interior today. Meanwhile a strong Pacific low pressure system will approach the South Coast today spreading clouds over the area. Precipitation associated with this system will begin tonight and continuing through Friday. Freezing levels will gradully creep up.

The weekend and into early next week....

A series of frontal systems in a southwesterly flow will affect the region through Monday bringing precipitation and gradually rising freezing levels. The system will stall in the gulf of Alaska sending waves of warm precip towards us.
