A warm front approaching from the southwest has spread freezing rain to the Whistler area. Cold air trapped in the valley bottoms with warm air over top=freezing rain

A series of fronts in the southwesterly flow will affect the region Monday and Tuesday bringing more precipitation and higher freezing levels, lowering after Tuesday.

The south- southwest flow will dominate the weather pattern well into next week. Bringing copious snowfall amounts in the high alpine next week.
