    Blue bird morning

Looks like around 30cm to the valley. Clear skies -12C up top.

A pacific front continues to advance from the northwest and will cross the central part of Vancouver Island early this evening and the south coast overnight. Winds will shift to the southwest with the passage of the front and then diminish somewhat by morning. Westerly winds will be strongest close to Juan de Fuca strait where winds could gust up to 90 km/h overnight and they are expected to reach up to 70 km/h near the water of Greater Vancouver and the eastern sections of the Fraser Valley late this evening.

Rainfall associated with this front will be significant through this evening with amounts of 20 to 40 mm over the south coast and 40 to 60 mm over parts of northern and western Vancouver Island. Snow will become more extensive at Whistler this evening and the warning remains in effect there with further amounts of 10 to 15 cm possible.
