    Nice day

Well yesterday was a bit of a washout freezing levels rose to around 2000m or so. With some clearing last night the alpine cooled off leaving a refrozen wasteland. Most snow was affected right up to the high alpine. Today should be nice with warm temps in the alpine typical of a spring day. A weak system tonight should bring a dusting of snow.

    Wet Slop

Freezing levels are on the rise headed for 2500m by tommorow afternoon. A stalled frontal system lying over the south coast will remain nearly stationary this morning and then begin to move northwards this afternoon. Further rainfall amounts of 30 to 40 mm along West Vancouver Island are expected today. Over the Inner South coast many areas will see a further 15 to 25 mm of rain today. The rain is forecast to ease this evening as the front moves to the north.

    Wet snow

A frontal system is moving slowly southward over Vancouver Island this morning and will bring additional rainfall amounts of 20 to 30 mm over coastal and inland sections of the coast today. The rain will ease late this afternoon over the central coast. Up in the alpine it's warming up -5C on the peak with wind 55km/ph out of the south. Looks like a storm day.
