    A warm front

    A Warm Front From The Latest Pacific Weather System Is Pulling Out Today Leaving Behind Lots Of Moisture At The Low Level.

    Were sitting around -2C up top this morning with winds out of the West around 40 gusting 60km/ph

    Freezing Levels Are Expected To Rise Dramatically this afternoon to around 1800m.

    A trough of low pressure will weaken over the Alaskan Panhandle this morning. The next in a series of frontal systems will approach central and northern coast mountains this afternoon and tonight.

    5 Day Trend.
    Warm Moist Southwesterly Flow Will Keep Freezing Levels High And Bring Periods Of Rain Near The Coast And Snow Inland Through Tuesday. On Tuesday a strong pacific cold front 992mb will drop significant precipitation in the form of snow.

    The system arriving onshore is forecast to bring flurries today tonight and tomorrow.. Sunny breaks on Sunday will give way to a series of stronger systems on Monday and Tuesday

    Blue bird morning

    High winds yesterday afternoon in the alpine redistrubuted some snow around up top. Temperatures overnight plummited to -14C in the valley, and in the alpine to -17c. Looks like one more day of sun before a pacific front approaches the area tommorow bringing snow to the valley.

    Cold and Blue

    A Cool And Unstable Airmass Over The South Coast Will Continue To Bring Occasional Flurries To The District Through Tuesday.

    This morning cool and clear, alpine temperature is down around -12C. We seem to be in a bit of a hole of blue a low off the Oregon coast will send the odd wave of flurries towards us today

    Today..Cloudy. 60 Percent Chance Of Flurries. Alpine High Minus 7.
    Snowfall Accumulation Trace. Freezing Level Near Valley Bottom.
    Mountain Top Winds South 20 Km/H.
    Tonight..Cloudy With A Flurries. Alpine Low Minus 11.
    Snowfall Accumulation Trace To 2 Cm. Freezing Level Near Valley Bottom. Mountain Top Winds Light And Variable.

    A north to south trough through central Hecate strait early this morning will drift slowly east to central Vancouver Island this afternoon. A low south of the Vancouver island will move east onto The Oregon coast this morning

    Lots of powder around

    A 996mb low stalled off northern vancouver island will rotate bands of moisture thorugh the coast mountains tonight and early tommorow morning, accumlations will vary according to where the bands of moisture hit overnight. Freezing levels will remain near the valley floor. The interior ranges will probably see more breaks than the coast tommororow. Ridgetop winds will continue through this evening at SE 50-70km/ph. A weak ridge Tuesday should clear things up a bit around Whistler. Looks like more snow late in the week. Bring it on....
