    Warm air on the way

After a couple of relatively cool days a weak pacific front will approach the area spreading showers. A ridge of high pressure will weaken over the bc interior today. A vigorous front centred 1700km NW of us will move northeastwards to lie just southwest of the Queen Charlotte's overnight.

Today in the valley..Becoming cloudy. 60 percent chance of showers this afternoon.
High 9. UV index 3 or moderate.
    Tonight..Showers. Low plus 4.

Thursday is going to be somewhat wet..Periods of rain. High 10.

Towards the long weekend..We've got a low that will be drawing in some very warm air from the south. Highs in the valley approaching 15C for the weekend. It looks right now that the precipitation from the low offshore will hit to the north of us and a weak ridge of high pressure in the interior will deflect the moisture through Sunday night...
