    A Weak Ridge Of High Pressure Will Build Onto The Coast This Afternoon Bringing Dry Conditions By This Afternoon. The Ridge Will Move Into The Interior On Sunday Then Another Weak Disturbance Will Bring More Unsettled Weather To The Region Beginning Sunday Afternoon And Evening.

    index 5 or moderate.

    Sunday..Cloudy with sunny periods. 30 percent chance of showers in
    the evening. High 19.

    Today Alpine..Cloudy. 40 Percent Chance Of Showers This Morning. Alpine High Plus 4. Rainfall Amounts Trace To 2 Mm. Freezing Level 1900 Metres.
    Mountain Top Winds Light And Variable.

    A trough of low pressure over the Queen Charlotte Sound will move across the north coast today while weakening. Meanwhile a weak ridge of high pressure will build onto the south coast. A front will approach the offshore waters from the southwest tonight.

    An Upper Trough Of Low Pressure Centre Will Cross The Coast This Afternoon Resulting In Frequent Showers And The Risk Of A Thundershower. A Weak Ridge Of High Pressure Will Build Onto The Coast Saturday Bringing Dry Conditions By The Afternoon.

    A broad 1006 millibar low will remain near 180 miles west of Cape Scott until this afternoon then move northeastward while weakening.
    A front associated with the low will approach the west coast of Vancouver Island this afternoon and move to Queen Charlotte Sound this evening.

    Tonight..Cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Low 8.
    Saturday..Cloudy with sunny periods. 60 percent chance of showers in

    A broad 1008 millibar low to the south of the Explorer region will weaken as it slowly moves northeast. A front rotating around the low has moved to lie just west of Vancouver Island and will weaken as it moves into Queen Charlotte Sound this evening. The system will approach the north coast overnight.

    An Upper Low Over The Pacific Will Spread Some Showers To The South Coast Today. This Upper Low Will Move Closer To The Area On Friday Giving More Significant Precipitation.

    A Weak Disturbance Will Move Onshore Bringing Mainly Cloudy Skies Today With A Chance Of Showers Overnight. A Stronger Upper Low Is Expected To Affect The Region Through Thursday Bringing More Significant Precipitation By Way Of Rain.

    A large 1008 MB low just west of the northern Island region will slowly sink southeastwards today and reach the coast by late Thursday afternoon. The low will rotate a weak system across the south coast today. A slightly more intense system is on tap For Thursday with some rain.

    An Upper Low Pressure Centre Will Cross The Southern Province Today Moving Into Alberta By This Evening. A Ridge Of High Pressure Will Begin To Build Along The Coast This Afternoon Then Will Edge Into The Interior On Tuesday.

    Meanwhile in the pacific a weak ridge of high pressure lies over coastal mountains this morning. A fairly strong frontal system will move into northern offshore waters this afternoon. The system will affect north and central coast this afternoon through late Tuesday.
