    An Upper Low Offshore Will Spread Showers To The Area Today Through Saturday With A Risk Of Thundershowers In The Afternoon And Evening For Both Days. 5 Day Trend..The Upper Low Will Continue To Give A Few Showers To The Region On Sunday. The Low Will Move Eastward Out Of The Region On Monday Resulting In Drier Conditions For Monday And Tuesday.

    Today..Cloudy with sunny periods and 60 percent chance of showers.
    Risk of a thundershower this afternoon. Valley High 17. Alpine High 6. UV index 4 or moderate.. Rainfall Amounts 2 To 3 Mm.

    Saturday..Cloudy with sunny periods . Risk Of Thundershowers In The Afternoon And Evening, and 60 percent chance of showers.
    Valley High 15. Alpine High Plus 5.
    Rainfall Amounts 3 To 7 Mm.

    A trough of low pressure over the offshore waters will weaken through today. A weak ridge of high pressure will build over the south coast this afternoon and onto the central and north coast this evening

    For the weekend that system to the north will most likely miss us and head south. Saturday should be the wetest of both days.

    Spread Clouds To The Area

    A Pacific Low Pressure System Will Spread Clouds To The Area Later Today And Scattered Showers Or Thundershowers Tonight Through Friday Morning.
    Today Valley..Sunny. Increasing cloudiness this afternoon. High 23. UV index
    6 or high.
    Tonight..Cloudy. 60 percent chance of showers overnight with the risk
    of a thundershower. Low 11.
    Friday..A few showers ending early in the afternoon then cloudy with
    sunny periods. High 17.

    Today Alpine..Sunny. Becoming Cloudy This Afternoon.
    Alpine High 13.
    Freezing Level 4000 Metres.
    Mountain Top Winds Southeast 20 To 30 Km/H Becoming Southwest 20 Km/H This Afternoon.

    The Pacific Low Pressure System Will Rotate Bands Of Showers Across The South Coast On Saturday And Sunday. The Low Will Move Eastwards Giving Dry Conditions On Monday.
    A trough of low pressure across central Vancouver Island Will move northwards to the Alaska Panhandle by this evening. A weakening low and front will approach Vancouver Island from the southwest Friday morning.


    Weekend.
    It seems like we may get significant rainfall starting early Sunday from a approaching 986mb low descending NW from the gulf of Alaska. It is likely the BC south coast will take a direct hit from this system. The storm itself would be welcome if it was the middle of February, and was full of snow. Freezing levels Sunday could drop below 2300m.

    A Ridge Of High Pressure Along The Bc Coast Will Maintain The Sunny And Hot Weather To The Region Today. A Disturbance Approaching From The Southwest Will Bring Clouds And Slight Chance Of Showers With Risk Of Thundershowers Late Thursday.

    The BC coast will remain under a weakening ridge of high pressure today then a pacific low will drift towards the outer coast from the southwest tonight.

    5 Day Trend..An Upper Trough Of Low Pressure Will Keep Unsettled Weather On Friday. A Front Will Approach The South Coast On Saturday Potentially Bringing Significant Rain

    Thursday..Sunny. Increasing cloudiness in the morning with 30 percent

    A weak area of low pressure centred over Queen Charlotte Sound Will move southwestward and dissipate early this morning with a High pressure ridge begins to build along the coast in its wake this afternoon.

    An Upper Trough Of Low Pressure Just West Of The Region Is Spreading Clouds And A Few Showers To The Area This Morning. The Associated Cloud Band Will Weaken And Slump South Of The Region This Afternoon.

    Today VAlley..Cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. High 17. UV index 4
    or moderate.

    Tonight..Cloudy periods. Low 6.
    Monday..Sunny with cloudy periods. High 23.

    Today Alpine..Cloudy With Afternoon Sunny Periods. 60 Percent Chance Of Showers. Alpine High Plus 5. Freezing Level 2200 Metres. Mountain Top Winds Southwest 20 Gusting 40 Km/H.

    A weak area of low pressure will remain centred over Queen Charlotte Sound. Meanwhile a broad ridge of high pressure will persist well offshore.
    Winds will become light to moderate southeasterly today to the East of the weak low pressure area
