    A Ridge Of High Pressure Will Begin To Build Over The Area Today Giving Mainly Sunny Conditions. The ridge of high pressure in a northeast to southwest line over the Queen Charlotte Sound will build towards the Queen Charlotte Islands today and Friday. A weak trough of low pressure will approach The Alaska Panhandle from the west this afternoon.

    A Ridge Of High Pressure Building Over The Region Will Bring Dry Conditions Tonight And Wednesday.

    Today..Periods Of Rain Ending Near Noon Then A Mix Of Sun And Cloud.
    Alpine High 12.
    Rainfall Amounts 2 To 5 Mm.
    Freezing Level 3000 Metres.
    Mountain Top Winds Light And Variable.

    Wednesday..A mix of sun and cloud. High 19.
    Thursday A mix of sun and cloud. Low plus 5. High 20.
    Friday Sunny. Low plus 4. High 20.
    Saturday Sunny. Low plus 2. High 21.

    A ridge of high pressure extending north to south just west of Queen Charlottes will shift eastward to lie through Queen Charlotte Sound this evening. An offshore frontal system will move eastward crossing the Charlottes this evening
