    An Intense Weather System Will Cross The South Coast Mountains This Afternoon. A Cool Unstable Airmass Will Linger Over The Coast Wednesday.

    A very strong 955 millibars low currently near 133W and 46N will move north toward the Queen Charlotte Islands today and reach the Charlottes Wednesday. A vigorous front associated with this low will cross the south coast late this afternoon

    Today Cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. High 14.
    Tonight Rain. Amount 15 to 25 mm. Low plus 5.
    Wednesday Showers. Amount 5 to 10 mm. High 9.
    Thursday Cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Low plus 4. High 12.
    Friday Cloudy with 70 percent chance of showers. Low plus 1. High 7.

    It Will Be Sunny Today As A Ridge Moves Across The South Coast. A Developing Strong Pacific System Will Bring A Few Showers Tonight And Tuesday, Then Rain Will Move In Tuesday Night.

    A ridge of high pressure over the south coast will gradually Weaken today. A trough of low pressure will move onto the central And north coasts this morning and weaken tonight. A low is forecast to deepen rapidly as it tracks northeastward towards the southern offshore tonight. This intense low is expected to track northward to lie just west of Queen Charlotte Sound by Tuesday night.

    Tonight A few clouds. Increasing cloudiness near midnight with a few showers. Low plus 2.
    Tuesday Cloudy with sunny periods and 60 percent chance of showers in the morning and afternoon. Rain beginning late in the day. High 15.
    Wednesday Rain. Low plus 5. High 8. Rainfall Amounts 20 To 30 Mm. Freezing Level 2000 Metres
