    A Weak Frontal System Will Cross The Region Today Bringing Cloud And A Few Flurries. A Ridge Of High Pressure Will Redevelop Over The Area On Sunday.

    A ridge of high pressure over the bc interior continues to weaken. A slowly moving pacific front crossing northern Vancouver Island this morning will cross the south coast today while weakening then a ridge will build along coastal waters this afternoon. A much stronger front will approach the Charlottes Sunday afternoon and Push the ridge onto the south coast

    5 Day Trend..Another Frontal System Will Cross The Region Monday. A Trough Of Low Pressure Will Spread More Snow Across The Region Beginning Late Wednesday.

    A Ridge Of High Pressure Continues To Build Today Giving Way To Mainly Sunny Skies. A Weakened Front Passes Over The Region Tonight Giving Increased Cloud. The Ridge Rebuilds On Wednesday For A Return To Sunny Skies.

    Big picture
    A ridge of high pressure through Queen Charlotte Sound early this morning will move to southern Vancouver Island tonight. A strong front will approach the coast today nearing the western Queen Charlottes overnight.

    Mountain Top Winds Northeast 40 Km/H Becoming Light And Variable This Morning.

    A Weak Low Moving Southeastward Along The Bc Coast Will Brush The Area With Cloud Cover And A Chance Of Flurries This Morning And Early Afternoon. A Ridge Of High Pressure Will Begin To Build In This Evening Bringing Dry Conditions And Mainly Sunny Skies Through Tuesday. A 1010 millibar low 60 miles southwest of Cape Scott early this morning will weaken as it moves southeastward off the west coast of Vancouver Island today. A ridge of high pressure will build near the Queen Charlottes tonight.

    Today Cloudy with sunny periods. 30 percent chance of flurries this morning and early this afternoon. High minus 1.

    Tonight Cloudy periods. Low minus 6.

    Tuesday Sunny with cloudy periods. High zero.

    Wednesday Sunny. Low minus 7. High plus 2.
