    A 978 millibar low 180 miles west of the Queen Charlottes early this morning will track northwards and onto the northern Alaska Panhandle by this evening. The associated intense front near the western Queen Charlottes early this morning will move onto the mainland coast by early this afternoon. A second low will follow a similar track on Sunday.

    A Frontal System Will Approach The Bc Coast Bringing Periods Of Snow Today Through This Evening. Lingering Flurries Over The Area Overnight Tonight Through Sunday Before Another System Arrives Spreading Snow Late Sunday Evening. Rising Freezing Levels Will Cause The Precipitation To Fall Mainly As Rain And Showers Over The Northshore Mountains Through Sunday.

    Out in the pacific A weak ridge of high pressure on the coast this morning will give way to a vigorous low pressure system approaching the central coast this afternoon. The frontal system will move through tonight and the low centre will follow behind the system passing near cape St James on Thursday.

    A Cool And Unstable Airmass Will Give A Few Flurries To The Region Today. A Frontal System Approaches Later This Afternoon Spreading Snow Across The Region Tonight Through Thursday. Freezing Levels Will Rise slightly but are forecast to stay at the valley bottom.

    A pacific frontal system will approach the coast this afternoon with strong southeasterly winds developing ahead of the front. Winds will rise up to 70 km/h over south coastal regions and up to 90 km/h for northern regions late this afternoon and early this evening. The front will move inland overnight with winds easing in its wake.

    A Frontal System Will Approach From The Pacific Spreading Strong Southeast Winds And Snow Tonight. Snow Will Continue Tuesday Morning And Bands Of Heavier Snow Will Develop As The Airmass Becomes More Unstable. These Heavier Bands Will Reach The Whistler Area In The Afternoon. Meanwhile Strong Gusty Winds Will Ease During The Afternoon And Shift To Southwest.

    An intense frontal system is rapidly approaching the coastline this evening and is expected to stall over nearshore waters overnight. The front will weaken as it slowly rotates inland late Tuesday. A Weak ridge will build into the coastline behind the system by late Tuesday.

    Tonight Alpine..Cloudy With Flurries Changing To Light Snow Later This Evening.
    Alpine Low Minus 9.
    Snowfall Accumulation 2 To 4 Cm.
    Freezing Level At Valley Bottom.

    Flurries Ending This Afternoon Then Cloudy. Alpine High -9.
    Snowfall Accumulation 2 To 4 Cm. Freezing Level In Village.. Cloudy With A Few Flurries. Alpine Temperature Steady Near -10. Snowfall Accumulation Trace. Freezing Level In Village

    Tonight..Cloudy with 30 percent chance of flurries. Low minus 3.
    Monday..Cloudy. 60 percent chance of flurries in the afternoon and evening. High minus 1.

    A weakening trough of low pressure over offshore waters will move slowly toward the coast today and move onto the coast this evening.
    A strong pacific frontal system is forecast to arrive late Monday.
    Moderate southwest winds will pick up Monday.
