    A Frontal System Coming From The Pacific Will Arrive Onshore This Morning Bringing Heavy Precipitation To The Region With Freezing Levels Lowering This Afternoon And Evening. Residual Flurries Will Taper Off Saturday Morning And Some Partial Clearing Can Be Expected In The Afternoon.

    A 992 millibar low located over southern island this morning will move northeastward and continue to deepen today. The low is forecast to move into south of the charlottes by this evening with a central pressure of 982 millibars before traversing the north coast overnight. The associated cold front will cross Vancouver Island this afternoon, and move inland resulting in a sharp drop of the freezing level.

    An Upper Ridge Over The Province Will Maintain Dry Conditions Today And Tonight. An Approaching Frontal System Will Bring A Chance Of Precipitation On Tuesday.

    A weak ridge of high pressure over the south coast will be pushed eastwards by a vigorous frontal system approaching from the west.

    The frontal system will move to northern coast tonight then move into northern and central coast by early Tuesday. The cold front will cross the coast Tuesday evening resulting in flurries around here. The main push of the system will go north.

    A Ridge Of High Pressure Will Dominate The Weather Pattern Over The South Coast For The Next Few Days. Variable Amounts Of Cloud Today Will Be Followed By Sunny And Much Milder Conditions On Sunday. Warm air aloft alpine temperatures and sun will dominate through the weekend as a warm pool of air settles in over the south coast.



    The ridge of high pressure extending north to south through the Queen Charlottes will shift eastward to lie through northern Vancouver Island overnight Sunday. A frontal system developing well offshore will move eastward to lie just west of the North Island region early Sunday.

    An Approaching Warm Front Will Spread Light Flurries To The South Coast Mountains Today. Precipitation Will Become More Continuous Tonight As The Front Moves Inland.

    A warm front over the Queen Charlotte Islands will move onto the north and central coasts this morning. The trailing northeast to southwest cold front will remain over the north coast then move southeastward towards the Queen Charlotte Sound tonight.

    An Intense Pacific Frontal System Will Continue To Give Snow To The Whistler Region Today And Tonight. Whistler May See Some Mixed Rain And Snow At Lower Elevations As Freezing Levels Rise to around 1200m this afternoon.

    A Cold Front Will Move Through Overnight Lowering Freezing Levels back to the valley. On Sunday An Unstable Airmass Behind The Front Combined With Moist Onshore Flow Will Give More Snow Over The Entire Area.

    A ridge of high pressure over the offshore waters will reach The mainland coast this afternoon. A warm front will approach the offshore waters this afternoon and reach the Queen Charlotte Islands overnight. Meanwhile an Arctic front over the northern bc interior will reach the north coast tonight.

    A Northwesterly Flow Of Cool Unstable Air Will Continue To Give A Few Flurries To The Region Through This Morning. A Pacific Frontal System Is Slated To Bring More light Snow To The Area Tonight Through Saturday. Heaviset precipitation will start late Saturday and into Sunday bringing 15-25cm of snow. Tuesdays storm looks like it will pound the area with even more precip.

    High winds today and last night will redistribute the snow that has fallen during the last 48hrs likely filling the alpine back in. It's allready deep and it will get deeper through the weekend and early next week as a series of pacific storms line up out in the pacific.

    A strong pacific frontal system 978mb will approach the coast of British Columbia from the gulf of Alaska this afternoon bringing snow to the north coast first and slowly making its way down to the south coast.. Snow is expected to develop tonight over the coastal sections of the coast. Snowfall amounts of 10cm are expected through Saturday morning.

    A strong cold front crossing the north and central coast will make its way to the south coast early this afternoon. Spreading Heavy Snow And Strong Winds To The Region. Scattered Flurries Will Linger Over The Area Tonight Before Another Frontal System Approaches The Region On Wednesday Giving Periods Of Snow.

    The associated low pressure centre is forecast to move onto the north coast this afternoon. Strong westerly flow will remain behind the departed system then another weaker frontal system is forecast to cross the central coast on Wednesday.
