    An Intense Pacific Frontal System Will Continue To Give Snow To The Whistler Region Today And Tonight. Whistler May See Some Mixed Rain And Snow At Lower Elevations As Freezing Levels Rise to around 1200m this afternoon.

    A Cold Front Will Move Through Overnight Lowering Freezing Levels back to the valley. On Sunday An Unstable Airmass Behind The Front Combined With Moist Onshore Flow Will Give More Snow Over The Entire Area.

    A strong pacific frontal system is currently spreading snow heavy at times over the north coast and will slide down towards us this morning. Additional snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm are expected for the coastal sections of the coast before changing to rain this afternoon.

    Winds will be Increasing To Southwest 70 Gusting To 100km/ph at ridgetop this Morning.

    Snowfall Accumulation 5 To 10 Cm.
    Freezing Level Valley Bottom Rising To 1200 Metres This Afternoon.
    Mountain Top Winds Southwest 50 Gusting To 80 Km/H Increasing To Southwest 70 Gusting To 100 This Morning.

    5 Day Trend..Another Pacific Frontal System Approaches The Coast On Monday With More Snow Except Mixed Rain And Snow For The Northshore Mountains. The Cold Front Associated With This System Will Move Through The Area On Tuesday With More Snow Except A Mix Of Snow And Rain For The Northshore Mountains. Wednesday Will Bring Drier Cooler Weather As A Ridge Builds Along The Coast.

    More storms on the way

    A ridge of high pressure over the offshore waters will reach The mainland coast this afternoon. A warm front will approach the offshore waters this afternoon and reach the Queen Charlotte Islands overnight. Meanwhile an Arctic front over the northern bc interior will reach the north coast tonight.

    A Northwesterly Flow Of Cool Unstable Air Will Continue To Give A Few Flurries To The Region Through This Morning. A Pacific Frontal System Is Slated To Bring More light Snow To The Area Tonight Through Saturday. Heaviset precipitation will start late Saturday and into Sunday bringing 15-25cm of snow. Tuesdays storm looks like it will pound the area with even more precip.

    High winds today and last night will redistribute the snow that has fallen during the last 48hrs likely filling the alpine back in. It's allready deep and it will get deeper through the weekend and early next week as a series of pacific storms line up out in the pacific.

    A strong pacific frontal system 978mb will approach the coast of British Columbia from the gulf of Alaska this afternoon bringing snow to the north coast first and slowly making its way down to the south coast.. Snow is expected to develop tonight over the coastal sections of the coast. Snowfall amounts of 10cm are expected through Saturday morning.

    A Frontal System Will Move Onto The Bc Coast Today Spreading Periods Of Snow This Afternoon, Snow At Times Heavy Tonight Through Thursday Morning. Strong Westerly Winds Are Expected To Develop On Thursday Behind The Front.

    A frontal system approaching the coast will cross the north coast late this afternoon and cross the south coast this evening. A trough will move toward the coast tonight as the low centre moves into the northern gulf of Alaska

    Snowfall Warning In Effect to the valley.
    Snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 cm are expected this afternoon through Thursday morning.

    An intense frontal system will move onto British Columbia coast today spreading snow to the inland sections of the coastal regions. Snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 cm are expected over the Whistler area this afternoon through Thursday morning. The snow should taper off to a few flurries Thursday afternoon as the front moves inland and weakens.

    Today Valley..Cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries this morning and
    early this afternoon. Periods of snow beginning this afternoon.

    percent chance of rain showers changing to flurries late in the day.

    A strong cold front crossing the north and central coast will make its way to the south coast early this afternoon. Spreading Heavy Snow And Strong Winds To The Region. Scattered Flurries Will Linger Over The Area Tonight Before Another Frontal System Approaches The Region On Wednesday Giving Periods Of Snow.

    The associated low pressure centre is forecast to move onto the north coast this afternoon. Strong westerly flow will remain behind the departed system then another weaker frontal system is forecast to cross the central coast on Wednesday. Another system with more snow accumulation to the valley Thursday and Friday. We could see up to another 1m of snow by Saturday as a relentless surge of pacific frontal systems pound our area. Should be getting very deep by the end of the week.

    An upper ridge of high pressure will produce mainly sunny skies for today. Some cloud will move into our area tonight as a small disturbance approaches our area for Monday. A more organized system should bring periods of snow for Tuesday. The freezing level is expected to remain at the valley level throughout the period.

    An Arctic ridge of high pressure over the northern bc interior Will gradually weaken today. A trough of low pressure extending northwestward from Washington state will shift eastward and weaken this afternoon as an offshore ridge builds towards the outer coast.

    Today..Mainly Sunny.

    Freezing Level Valley Bottom.
    Mountain Top Winds Light And Variable.

    Flurries Will Change To Snow Monday Afternoon As A More Significant Frontal System Approaches The Region. The Storm Is Forecast To Deepen Significantly By Tuesday, Resulting In Strong Southeasterly Winds And Moderate Snow Amounts To High Elevations Of The South Coast. An Unstable Northwesterly Flow Will Persist Into Thursday Delivering More Snow To The Region.
