    A Ridge Of High Pressure Will Dominate The Weather Pattern Over The South Coast For The Next Few Days. Variable Amounts Of Cloud Today Will Be Followed By Sunny And Much Milder Conditions On Sunday. Warm air aloft alpine temperatures and sun will dominate through the weekend as a warm pool of air settles in over the south coast.



    The ridge of high pressure extending north to south through the Queen Charlottes will shift eastward to lie through northern Vancouver Island overnight Sunday. A frontal system developing well offshore will move eastward to lie just west of the North Island region early Sunday.

    Approaching Warm Front

    An Approaching Warm Front Will Spread Light Flurries To The South Coast Mountains Today. Precipitation Will Become More Continuous Tonight As The Front Moves Inland.

    A warm front over the Queen Charlotte Islands will move onto the north and central coasts this morning. The trailing northeast to southwest cold front will remain over the north coast then move southeastward towards the Queen Charlotte Sound tonight.

    Today.. Cloudy With A Few Flurries.
    Alpine High Minus 1.
    Freezing Level Near Valley Bottom. Above Freezing Level Between 2100 And 2500 Metres Developing This Afternoon.
    Mountain Top Winds West 30 Km/H.

    A ridge of high pressure will set up on the weekend bringing spring like alpine temperatures early next week. At least until Wednesday when a bit of a northwest flow sets up bringing in some cooler air.

    A Cold Front Approaching The South Coast Will Bring Snow Except A Mix Of Snow And Rain For The Northshore Mountains Today.
    Unsettled Conditions Are Expected In The Wake Of The Front Tonight.

    A 980 millibar low about 180 miles west of Langara will move northeastward onto the Alaska Panhandle this morning. The associated cold front over the north coast this morning will move southeastward through the south coast by this afternoon.

    A Ridge Of High Pressure Building Over The Area Will Bring Drier And Cooler Weather On Wednesday.

    Today Alpine..Snow this morning Ending Late This Afternoon Then Cloudy With 60 Percent Chance Of Flurries. Winds SW 40 gusting higher in the alpine at ridgetop

    A Pacific Frontal System Approaching The Coast Will Bring Snow.

    A warm front will cross the bc coast early this morning. A 987 millibar low will move from the southwest and lie 240 miles west of Langara Island by this evening with its associated cold front moving through the north coast early Tuesday morning

    Alpine High Minus 4.
    Snowfall Accumulation 5 Cm.
    Freezing Level Valley Bottom Rising To 1000 Metres This Morning.
    Mountain Top Winds Southwest 40 Km/H With Gusts To 70 Km/H This Afternoon.

    There Will Be A Break Tonight And The Cold Front Associated With The System Will Move Through The Area On Tuesday With More Snow.
