    A Frontal System Coming From The Pacific Will Arrive Onshore This Morning Bringing Heavy Precipitation To The Region With Freezing Levels Lowering This Afternoon And Evening. Residual Flurries Will Taper Off Saturday Morning And Some Partial Clearing Can Be Expected In The Afternoon.

    A 992 millibar low located over southern island this morning will move northeastward and continue to deepen today. The low is forecast to move into south of the charlottes by this evening with a central pressure of 982 millibars before traversing the north coast overnight. The associated cold front will cross Vancouver Island this afternoon, and move inland resulting in a sharp drop of the freezing level.

    -3C up top winds SW 30-40km/ph and snowing with limited visibility.

    Mountain Top Winds South 40 Km/H Rising To South 60 To 80 Km/H This Afternoon.

    Snowfall Accumulation 10 To 15 Cm.
    Freezing Level At Valley Bottom.
    Mountain Top Wind Southwest 50 To 70 Km/H Easing Overnight To 50.

    A Cold Front Will Move Over The Region Today With Periods Of Snow Or Rain Tapering Off To A Few Scattered Flurries Or Showers Near Midday. A Ridge Of High Pressure Builds In For Thursday Giving Way To Dry And Partly Sunny Skies.

    A 980 millibar low centre in the gulf of Alaska will track Towards the Alaskan Panhandle this morning while weakening. A ridge of high pressure will strengthen over the south coast today. Another frontal system will approach offshore waters tonight

    Today..Periods Of Snow Ending This Morning Then Cloudy With Sunny Periods And 40 Percent Chance Of Flurries.

    Snowfall Accumulation Trace To 2 Cm.
    Freezing Level 1000 Metres Rising To 1600 Metres In The Afternoon.
    Mountain Top Winds Southwest 40 Km/H Easing To 30 This Afternoon.

    Friday another storm finally makes a return to the south coast bringing snow above 800m.

    An Upper Ridge Over The Province Will Maintain Dry Conditions Today And Tonight. An Approaching Frontal System Will Bring A Chance Of Precipitation On Tuesday.

    A weak ridge of high pressure over the south coast will be pushed eastwards by a vigorous frontal system approaching from the west.

    The frontal system will move to northern coast tonight then move into northern and central coast by early Tuesday. The cold front will cross the coast Tuesday evening resulting in flurries around here. The main push of the system will go north.

    Freezing Level Valley Bottom Rising To 1400 Metres This Afternoon.
    Mountain Top Winds Light And Variable Rising To Southwest 20 Km/H Near Noon.

    Unfortunately not a lot going on out in the pacific lately. We should see some more systems roll through late in the week possibly.

    A weak Frontal System Will Spread Precipitation Over The South Coast Mountains On Wednesday. A Ridge Of High Pressure Will Build On Thursday Bringing Drier Conditions. Another Frontal System Will Affect The Area On Friday.
