Still 230cm of snow remains above about 4500ft. Cornices are still hanging on in places and dropping onto slopes below. The remainder of the seasons snowpack is well settled. A fair size avalanche in Whistler bowl on Wednesday could be seen from the valley after a cornice drop from above. Caution should be exercised if travelling in high alpine area below cornices from now towards the summer months as the winters snowpack may be hanging above your head. Average snow depths of 300-400cm still exist on the glacier's up high after a very snowy winter.
